Day Six - Twilight monkey fight at the shine.

He probably didn't like us taking pictures of his drinking spot.
He's up there somewhere!!

Day Six - Kamagawa River (Kyoto)

We were on our way to our first shrine when we got off the train and saw people sitting by this river...so we went down to check it out.

Day Six - Breakfast in Kyoto

We went out looking for a traditional Japanese breakfast (miso soup, salad, fish) but we're discovering most stores and restaurants don't open until 10 or 11am so we ended up at a western style diner. We could eat in our hotel but really like to go out walking around the city in order to find our meals.

Day Five - Kyoto Hotel

Much bigger than our room in Toyko, and we have a view!

Day Five - Shinkansen Photos

It kind of looks as if it was a foggy in some of these pictures, but that is actually glare from sunlight reflecting off the window.

Day Five - Shinkansen from Toyko -> Kyoto

Day Four - Shibuya 109 Mall

This nine story mall was AMAZING and very loud. We were trying to be discreet while filimg so the camera work is not our best =)

A short video we made of our Tokyo hotel room =)

Day Two

At Shinjuku Station (Tokyo) We ordered both meals from a vending machine at the entrace to the restaurant...we're not sure what it was but it tasted really good!

Day One

Not a lot happened our first day...we flew out of Logan at 9am Monday morning and landed in Japan at 8pm THE NEXT DAY. Our first day was spent flying from Boston to Detroit, hanging around that airport for a while then flying to Narita Airport. This is the plane we took to Narita. We tried to sleep as much as possible on the flight but every few hours they would wake us up for lunch, a snack, dinner, and then breakfast.
